The Indonesia 1,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by Bank Indonesia in 2016. The note has hints of green, orange, purple, and red. Its obverse features anti-colonialist Tjut Meutia, the map of Indonesia, and its coat of arms. The reverse depicts the Fort Belgica in Banda Neira in Banda Islands (Spice Islands) in Maluku province. it also features an orchid flower, a Tari Tifa (dancer with a drum), and the bank logo. The banknote contains a solid security thread with printed Bank Indonesia. It also has a watermark that reveals Tjut Meutia. It measures 141 x 66 mm and is signed by Sri Mulyani Indrawati. This particular paper bill has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
