The Indonesia 1,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by Bank Indonesia in 2021. It has a color combination of green, orange, purple, and red. Its obverse features anti-colonist Tjut Meutia. It also shows a map of Indonesia and the nation’s coat of arms. The reverse depicts the Fort Belgica in Banda Neira, the Banda Islands (Spice Islands) in Maluku province, an orchid flower, the bank logo, and a Tari Tifa (dancer with a drum). The note contains a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA, a watermark that reveals Tjut Meutia, and a registration device in the form of the bank logo. It is 141 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Sri Mulyani Indrawati and Perry Warjiyo. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
