Indonesia 10,000 Rupiah Banknote, 1985, P-126, UNC, TAP Authenticated

The Indonesia 10,000 Rupiah banknote was released by the Bank Indonesia in 1985. It has a color combination of purple, blue, and orange. Featured on the obverse is the coat of arms of Indonesia and a portrait of Raden Ayu Kartini, an activist for Women’s rights. In the background is the UNESCO World Heritage Site Hindu Temple of Prambanan. The reverse of the note depicts a female student wearing a toga and a mortarboard, holding a diploma and the national flag. The banknote is 158 x 80 mm in size. It contains a solid security thread with printed INDONESIA and a watermark that reveals an image of Indonesian independence leader Tjipto Mangoenkoesoemo. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
