This bluish purple 10,000 Indonesian rupiah note measures 145 mm long and 65 mm wide. It was printed in 2014 and signed by Bank Indonesia Governor Agus Derwaman Wintarto Martowardojo and Deputy Governor Perry Warjiyo. Its front side contains the Indonesian coat of arms and the portrait of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, the 8th sultan of the Palembang Sultanate. Its reverse side depicts the Rumah Limas, the traditional houses on stilts found in Palembang. Security features of the note include the Bank Indonesia logo registration device, a rainbow-printed pentagon, Omron rings, an intaglio circle, a solid security thread with printed BI 10000, and a watermark of Mahmud Badaruddin II and an electrotype bank logo.
