The Indonesia 10,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by Bank Indonesia in 2017 as part of the “National Heroes” series. Its obverse side contains the national coat of arms, a map of Indonesia, and a portrait of the 4th governor of Papua Frans Kaisiepo. Its reverse side depicts the Tari Pakarena cultural dance, the national park Taman Nasional Wakatobi, and a Magnolia vrieseana flower. Security features include the Bank Indonesia logo as a registration device, a solid security thread with printed BI 10000, and a watermark of Mahmud Badaruddin II with an electrotype Bank Indonesia logo. It is 145 mm by 66 mm in size. This replacement banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
