The banknotes obverse features the president, Sukarno, the first vice-president Mohammad Hatta, the national emblem, and the proclamation of independence. Depicted on its obverse is the Nusantara, the Peoples Consultative Assembly building found in Jakarta. The banknote is 151 x 65 mm in size. It comes with a simulated curving security thread with a demetalized BANK INDONESIA 100000 and a watermark that reflects a shadow image of the national emblem.
