Indonesia 2,000 Rupiah Banknote, 2016, P-155a, UNC, TAP Authenticated

The Indonesia 2,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by the Bank Indonesia in 2016 in a gray and orange color combination. The obverse of the note depicts Mohammad Husni Thamrin, the map of Indonesia, and the coat of arms. Its reverse features a view of the Ngarai Sianok (Sianok Canyon) near Bukittinggi in West Sumatra. It also displays a magnolia champaca flower, the bank logo, and a Tari Piring (a dancer with plates). The paper bill contains a solid security thread with printed BI 2000 and a watermark that reveals Prince Antasari. The note is 142 x 66 mm in size and bears orange-to-green fluorescent serial numbers. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
