Indonesia 20,000 Rupiah Banknote, 1998, P-138, Used

The Indonesia 20,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by Bank Indonesia in 1998. This 20,000-rupiah banknote is predominantly green and measures 152 x 72 mm. The front side shows Ki Hadjar Dewantara, a proponent of the independence movement and education for native Indonesians around the early to mid-1900s. Meanwhile, the back side depicts a room of children studying in class at a school in Yogyakarta called Taman Siswa or Garden of Students. The security features of the note include a solid security thread printed with BANK INDONESIA 20000 and a watermark image of Ki Hajar Dewantara and an electrotype bank seal.
