The Indonesia 20,000 Rupiah Banknote is part of the 2003 issues of the Bank Indonesia. On the obverse of the green banknote is Ki Hadjar Dewantara who led the Indonesian Independence movement. It also shows the Indonesia coat of arms and a mythical statue. The reverse of the paper bill depicts children studying in class at the Taman Siswa School of Yogyakarta. The note contains a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA 20000 and a watermark that reveals Ki Hajar Dewantara and an electrotype bank seal. The banknote is 152 x 72 mm in size and carries the signatures of Haryono and Joseph Soedradjad Djiwandono. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
