The Indonesia 20,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by the Bank Indonesia in 2004. Its obverse depicts Ki Hadjar Dewantara who led the Indonesian Independence movement. The obverse of the green note also shows the coat of arms of Indonesia and a mythical statue. The reverse displays children studying in class at the Taman Siswa School of Yogyakarta. The note contains a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA 20000 and a watermark that reveals Ki Hajar Dewantara and an electrotype bank seal. The banknote is 152 x 72 mm in size and carries the signatures of Haryono and Joseph Soedradjad Djiwandono. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
