The Indonesia 20,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by the Bank Indonesia in 2018. It comes in a color combination of green, blue, brown, and purple. The banknote’s obverse features 1st governor of Sulawesi Dr. Gerungan Saul Samuel Jacob Ratulangi, the map of Indonesia, and the coat of arms. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a sea turtle swimming near the Derawa Islands in East Kalimanta, a black orchid flower, the bank logo, and a dancer with feathers (Tari Gong). The banknote bears a windowed security thread with a demetallized BI 20000, a watermark that shows Oto Iskandar di Nata and an electrotype logo, and a registration device that reflects the bank logo. The banknote measures 147 x 66 mm and is signed by Mulyani Indrawati and Perry Warjiyo. This particular paper bill has a radar serial number and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, it has been TAP authenticated.
