This Indonesia 5,000 Rupiah banknote was issued in 2000-2016 by Bank Indonesia. The obverse side of the note depicts the Bank logo as the registration device along with the national emblem and a portrait of National hero and religious leader Tuanku Imam Bondjol. The reverse side features an Indonesian woman in a native costume while weaving a traditional fabric using a handloom. The security features of the note include a solid security thread printed with BANK INDONESIA and a watermark image of Indonesian heroine Tjut Meutia. The note measures 143 x 65mm.
