The Indonesia 5,000 Rupiah Banknote was released by the Bank Indonesia in 2001. The note has hints of brown, green, red, blue, and yellow. Its obverse features the coat of arms of Indonesia and a Sasando Rote which is a harp-like traditional stringed musical instrument from Rote Island. The reverse of the paper bill depicts three crater lakes of Kelimutu volcano (Danau Kelimutu). The note contains a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA and a watermark that reflects Tjut Meutia. It is 144 x 72 mm in size and is signed Adrianus Mooy and Hasudungan Tampubolon. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
