The Indonesia 5,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by the Bank Indonesia in 2018. It has a color combination of tan, brown, green, and purple. Its obverse features politician Dr.K. H. Chalid, the map of Indonesia, and the nation’s coat of arms. The reverse depicts a tuberose flower and a Tari Gambyong (a dancer with scarves) with Gunung Bromo (Mount Bromo) volcano in East Java in the background. It also shows the bank logo. The note contains a solid security thread with printed BANK INDONESIA and a watermark that reveals Tjut Meutia. It is 143 x 66 mm in size and is signed by Perry Warjiyo and Mulyani Indrawati. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
