The Indonesia 50,000 Rupiah Banknote was issued by Bank Indonesia in 1993. The banknote has a color combination of blue, green, and yellow. The obverse features temples, water buffalo plowing fields, a highway interchange, a graduation ceremony, a doctor and a nurse, a satellite, a jet plane, an off-shore oil platform, a ship, and a petroleum refinery. It also displays a portrait of Suharto, a seated Suharto with an audience, and the coat of arms of Indonesia. The reverse depicts Boeing 747 in Garuda Indonesia livery soaring above the control tower at the Soeharno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. The note contains a watermark that reveals Wage Rudolf Soepratman. It also has a solid security thread with demetalized BANK INDONESIA. It is 152 x 76 mm in size and is signed by T. M. Sjakur Machmud and Adrianus Mooy. This particular paper bill is in used condition and has been TAP authenticated.
