Indonesia 50,000 Rupiah Banknote, 1993, P-134a, UNC

Introduced in 1993, this 50,000 Indonesian rupiah is a limited edition polymer banknote that commemorates the first long term development period under President Suharto. The note was of legal tender until it was demonetized in 2010. The obverse side of the note highlights President Haji Mohamed Suharto as the Father of Indonesian Development, with various sectoral developments in the background. The reverse side exhibits a Garuda Indonesia Boeing 747 taking off at the Sukarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. The security features of the note are a hologram of Suharto and a watermark BI. The note is 152 mm long and 76 mm wide.
