This Iraqi 1,000 Dinar banknote was designed and printed by Thomas De La Rue using modern anti-forgery techniques in 2013. The banknote's front design depicts an ancient gold dinar coin while the reverse side features the Mustansiriya Madrasah building in Baghdad. The security features of the note include a solid security thread with demetalized Arabic text and a horse head watermark. The note measures 142 x 66 mm.
