The Iraq 1/2 Dinar Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Iraq in 1993 as part of its Emergency Issues. Its obverse side features an astrolabe while its reverse side features the spiral minaret of the Malwiya Tower in the Great Mosque of Samarra. The note does not have a watermark or a security thread. It is 130 mm x 66 mm in size and is signed by Governor Tariq al-Tukmachi. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
