This used 1 Iraqi dinar banknote is a standard banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Iraq in 1971. It is a blue banknote that bears the signature of Saleh Kubbah and measures 154 mm x 78 mm. Its obverse side shows the Aldora oil refinery buildings and towers. Its reverse side depicts the doorway to the Mustansiriya Madrasah building. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of a falcon head. The banknote was demonetized in 2004.
