This replacement print of the Iraq 10,000 Dinars Banknote was issued in 2006 by the Central Bank of Iraq. The obverse side of the note depicts a portrait of Arabian scientist Abu Ali al-Hasan ibn al-Hasan ibn al-Haytham also known as Alhazen along with the geometric patterns of optics. The reverse side features the iconic hunchback minaret of the Great Nur al-Din mosque in Mosul surrounded by trees. The note measures 170 x 78 mm and contains a solid security thread with demetalized Arabic text and a horse head watermark to enhance its security features.
