The 10,000 Iraqi dinar note is a standard circulation note that is dated 2006 (AH 1427) and signed by Sinan Al Shabibi. It is a green banknote that measures 170 mm x 78 mm. Its obverse side depicts a geometric drawing of optics and a portrait of the scientist Abu Ali al-Hasan ibn al-Haytham. Its reverse side features the al-Hadba minaret from the Great Nur al-Din Mosque. Security features include a solid security thread with a demetalized Arabic text and a horsehead watermark.
