This uncirculated 250 Iraqi dinar was introduced by the Central Bank of Iraq in 2002 and signed by Governor Isam Rasheed Hawaish. It was demonetized in January 2004. It is a purple and light blue note that measures 152 mm x 64 mm. Its obverse side shows former leader Saddam Hussein. Its reverse side features the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of flowers.
