Iraq 250 Dinars Banknote, 2003 (AH1424), P-91a, UNC

The 250 Iraqi dinar banknote is part of the new Iraqi dinar notes issued by the Coalition Provisional Authority that used modern anti-forgery techniques. The obverse side depicts an astrolabe. The reverse side highlights the Al-Minarat al-Malwiyyah (The Twisted Minaret) of the Great Mosque of Samarra. The note has a solid security thread with demetalized Arabic text and a watermark of a horse head. Its dimensions are 130 mm x 65 mm.
