Iraq 250 Dinars Banknote, 2018 (AH1440), P-97a.2s, UNC, Specimen

This uncirculated 250 Iraqi dinar banknote is a specimen issued by the Central Bank of Iraq. It is a blue and tan banknote that is dated 2018/ AH 1440, bears the signature of Ali Mohsen Ismail Al Alaq, and measures 130 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side shows an astrolabe and a diagonal red overprint. Its reverse side depicts the spiral minaret of the Malwiya Tower at the Great Mosque of Samarra and a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint. Security features include a solid security thread with a demetallized Arabic text and a horse head watermark.
