This 5,000 Iraqi dinar banknote is dated 2003 (AH 1424) and signed by Falih Dawood Salman. It has purple, blue, and orange colors and dimensions of 159 mm by 78 mm. Its obverse side portrays the Gali Ali Beg waterfall in Kurdistan. Its reverse side depicts an aerial view of the desert fortress of Al-Ukhether. Security features of the note include a solid security thread with demetalized Arabic text and a horse head watermark. This note is printed and designed by De La Rue. and is in uncirculated condition.
