This Iraq 5 Dinars banknote has a dimension of 166 x 85 mm. It was issued by the Central Bank of Iraq in 1973 and depicts the National Parliament building in Baghdad with flag and palm trees on the front design. The reverse side features Babylonian king, Hammurabi, receiving laws from Shamash the Sun God, as depicted on the carving from the upper part of the diorite stele famously known as the Code of Hammurabi. The banknote's security features include a solid security thread and a watermark image of a Falcon's head.
