The Iraq 5 Dinar Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Iraq in 1992. The note comes in a color combination of brownish-purple and pink. Its obverse depicts Saddam Hussein and temple buildings. The reverse depicts Babylonian king, Hammurabi receiving laws from Shamash the Sun God as shown on the carving from the upper part of the diorite stele of the Code of Hammurabi. It also shows the Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Baghdad. The banknote does not contain a security thread and watermark. It measures 160 x 75 mm and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated.
