This Iraq 500 Dinars Banknote from 2004 is part of the 2003-2013 series. The obverse side of the note depicts the Dukan Dam on the Lesser Zab River in Sulaimania Governorate. The reverse side features a winged bull statue from the Palace of Khorsabad in Dur-Sharrukin also known as the Fortress of Sargon and an Assyrian priest. The note has a dimension of 142 x 66 mm and is equipped with a solid security thread with demetalized Arabic text to enhance its security features. A watermark image of a horse head is also made visible under UV light.
