This uncirculated 500 Iraqi dinar note was issued by the Central Bank of Iraq in 2013. It is a green note that is dated 2013 (AH 1435) and signed by Bank Governor Abdul Basit Turki Saeed. Its obverse side features the concrete Dukan Dam in the As Sulaymaniyah Governate of the Kurdistan Region. Its reverse side portrays the winged bull statue from the Palace of Khorsabad in Dur-Sharrukin (the Fortress of Sargon) and an Assyrian priest. Security features include a solid security thread with demetalized Arabic text, intaglio printing, fluorescent UV denomination, and a horse head watermark. It measures 142 mm long and 67 mm wide.
