This uncirculated 1 Irish pound was issued by the Central Bank of Ireland. It is dated 9 September 1982 and signed by O’Cofaigh and Doyle. Its obverse side portrays Queen Medb, the queen of Connacht in Irish mythology. Its reverse side contains a medieval manuscript.
