The Ireland 1 Pound Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Ireland in 1982. Its obverse side portrays Queen Medb, the queen of Connacht in Irish mythology. Its reverse side contains a medieval manuscript. Security features of the note include a solid security thread and a watermark of Lady Lavery. It is 148 mm x 78 mm in size and is signed by O’Cofaigh and Doyle. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
