This uncirculated 20 Israeli new shekel note is part of the series issued by the Bank of Israel in 2017 and bears the signature of Bank Governor Dr. Karnit Flug. This red note measures 129 mm x 71 mm. Its obverse side contains Hebrew text, an open book in gold-to-green SPARK, palm trees, a microprinted poem “Kinneret” and a portrait of poet Rachel Bluwstein. Its reverse side depicts a shoreline and a segment of the poem “Perhaps it was nothing…”. Security features include a menorah registration device, a Kinegram Volume holographic stripe, a color-changing windowed security thread with demetalized 20 and a portrait of Bluwstein, and a watermark of Bluwstein with an electrotype 20.
