This Israel 20 New Shekels banknote is part of the 2017 series. It was designed by Ms. Osnat Eshel and measures 129 x 71 mm. The obverse side of the note features a portrait of Hebrew-language poet Rachel Bluwstein along with a microprinted piece of the poem Kinneret". The menorah as registration device and an open book in gold-to-green SPARK with palm trees leaves in the background. The reverse side features the Sea of Galilee shoreline and a printed segment of the poem Perhaps it was nothing", and the menorah. The security features of the note include a Kinegram Volume holographic stripe, a color-changing windowed security thread with a demetalized 20 and portrait of Rachel Bluwstein, and a watermark image of Rachel Bluwstein and electrotype 20.
