The Israel 20 New Shekels Banknote was issued by the Bank of Israel in 2017. This red banknote features poet Rachel Bluwstein and a microprinted poem “Kinneret” on the obverse. It also shows an open book in gold-to-green SPARK and palm trees. The reverse depicts the Sea of Galilee shoreline, a segment of the poem “Perhaps it was nothing…”, and a menorah. The note contains a Kinegram Volume holographic stripe and a color-changing windowed security thread with a demetallized 20 and a portrait of Rachel Bluwstein. Its watermark reflects Rachel Bluwstein and an electrotype 20. The banknote is 129 x 71 mm in size and bears the signature of Karnit Flug. This particular banknote has been given a grade of 65 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
