Italy 1,000 Lire Banknote, 1990, P-114c, Used

The Italy 1,000 Lire Banknote was issued the Bank of Italy in 1990. The note has a combination of purple, green, blue, and orange. Featured on the obverse is Maria Montessori and the seal of the Maritime Republics (Amalfi, Genoa, Pisa, and Venice). The reverse depicts a girl holding a pen watching a boy write on a notebook. It also shows a penal code. The note has a security thread and a watermark that reveals Maria Montessori and an electrotype BI monogram. It is 112 x 61 mm in size and is signed by Antonio Fazio. This particular Italy 1,000 banknote is in used condition.
