Reviews:

The Italy 5,000 Lire Banknote was issued by the Bank of Italy in 1984. It comes in a color combination of green, blue, and orange. On its obverse is the seal of the Maritime Republics (Amalfi, Genoa, Pisa, Venice), the interior of the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, Sicily, and a portrait of Vincenzo Bellini. The reverse of the note depicts a column, a tree, and a singer in a scene from Bellini’s opera, Norma. The banknote contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals Vincenzo Bellini and an electrotype BI monogram. It is 126 x 70 mm in size and is signed by Fortunato Speziali and Azeglio Ciampi. This particular banknote is in used condition.
