The Italy 10,000 Lire Banknote was issued by the Bank of Italy in 1984. The banknote has a color combination of blue, purple, orange, red, and green. Its obverse side shows the seal of the Maritime Republics, a voltaic pile (electric battery), and a portrait of Alessandro Volta. Its reverse side depicts the Tempio Voltiano museum in Como and the penal code. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Alessandro Volta and an electrotype BI monogram. The banknote is 133 mm x 70 mm and is signed by Antonio Fazio and Fortunato Speziali. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
