Reviews:

This Italy 5,000 Lire Banknote from 1985 was introduced with improved security features. The note is equipped with a solid security thread and a Vincenzo Bellini watermark and an electrotype BI monogram for added security. The banknote's front design depicts a portrait of Italian opera composer Vincenzo Bellini along with the interior structure of Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, Sicily, and the seal of the Maritime Republics Amalfi, Genoa, Pisa, and Venice. The reverse side features a singer in a scene from Bellinis opera, Norma.
