This uncirculated 1,000 Dollars Jamaica note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Jamaica. It is a blue and green note that is dated 2009, bears the signature of Derick Milton Latibeaudiere, and measures 145 x 68 mm. Its obverse side features butterfly as registration devices, Michael Norman Manley, coat of arms and giant swallow-tailed butterfly (Papilio homerus fabricius). Its reverse side shows butterflies and Jamaica House building and trees on Hope Road, Kingston. Security features include a solid security thread, a red-to-green windowed with demetalized BOJ 1000, and a watermark of Michael Manley, electrotype 1000 and butterfly, and Cornerstones.
