Jamaica 1,000 Dollars Banknote, 2015, P-86k, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

This 1,000 Jamaican dollar note is dated 01.06.2015, printed by De La Rue, and signed by Bank of Jamaica Governor Brian Wynter. Its blue obverse side shows a giant swallow-tailed butterfly on the upper right corner, the Jamaican coat of arms in the center, and a portrait of Michael Norman Manley on the left. Michael Norman Manley is the fourth Prime Minister of Jamaica who championed the democratic socialist program. Its green reverse side portrays the Jamaica House building in Hope Road, Kingston. The note has two security threadsa solid security thread and a red-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized BOJ 1000. Its watermarks are Michael Manley, an electrotype 1000 and butterfly, and Cornerstones. It also has a butterfly registration device and measurements of 145 mm by 68 mm.
