The Jamaica 100 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Bank of Jamaica in 2004. It has hints of brown, green, purple, and orange. Its obverse side features Sir Donald Sangster, jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia) flowers, the map of Jamaica, the national coat of arms, and an ackee fruit. Its reverse side depicts an ackee fruit and a view of Dunn’s River Falls near Ocho Rios. Security features include a 2-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetalized BOJ 50 and a watermark of a red-billed streamertail hummingbird (Doctor Bird) with an electrotype star. It is 145 mm x 68 mm and is signed by Governor Derick Milton Latibeaudiere. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
