This uncirculated 500 Jamaican dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Jamaica. It is an orange, purple, and green note that is dated 15 January 2009, bears the signature of Derick Latibeaudiere, and measures 145 mm x 68 mm. Its obverse side features lobster claw flowers, the Nanny of the Maroons, hibiscus flowers, and the national coat of arms. Its reverse side shows a pocket watch, lobster claw flowers, a map of Jamaica, and a view of Port Royal. Security features include a solid security thread, a windowed security thread with demetallized BOJ 500, and a watermark of the Nanny of the Maroons with an electrotype 500 and crocodile, and Cornerstones.
