Jamaica 500 Dollars Banknote, 2021, P-85o, UNC

The Jamaica 500 Dollars banknote was issued by the Bank of Jamaica in 2021. It is orange, purple, and green in color and measures 145 x 68 mm. The obverse side features a crocodile with key in underprint, a lobster claw flower, the Nanny of the Maroons, a hibiscus flower; and the coat of arms. The banknote's reverse depicts a pocket watch, the map of Jamaica, Port Royal buildings, and also a lobster claw flower. This paper bill bears a 2-mm wide windowed security thread with demetalized BOJ 500 and a watermark that shows a Red-billed streamertail hummingbird (Doctor Bird) and electrotype star. The paper bill was printed by De La Rue and signed by Governor Richard Owen Byles. This particular Jamaica 500 Dollars banknote is in uncirculated condition.
