Customer reviews

The Japan 10,000 Yen Banknote was issued as part of the Series E banknote series in 2004. This particular 10,000-yen banknote is a re-issue from 2011 when the color of the serial numbers was changed from black to brown. It measures 160 x 76 mm and has shades of brown, green and orange. The obverse side features 19th century author and influential figure Fukuzawa Yukichi. The reverse side shows a standing cockerel, an animal most venerated in Japan as a sacred symbol.
