Reviews:

This Japanese hansatsu note was used as the currency in the daimyo (landlord) territory instead of coins. This note was exchanged for 3 monme (the traditional unit of measure for weight in Japan) of silver, which in current times is equal to 11.25 g. One side of the note features Ebisu, the god of commerce and fishermen. The other side of the note features the clan seal and other designs to denote which territory the note circulates in.
