Reviews:

This Japan 5 Sen banknote from 1944 is part of the 1942-1945 World War II series. The obverse side of the note depicts the statue of Kusunoki Masahige, a 14th-century samurai, in front of Imperial Palace, Tokyo. The reverse side features a rosette and stylized paulownia flowers with Japanese text in the center. The note is 100 x 48 mm in size and does not contain any security threads however placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of a Paulownia leaves. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
