This Japan 50 Sen banknote from 1943 is part of the 1938-1945 series during WWII. The note is designed with patriotic themes and measures 105 x 65 mm. The banknote's front design the historic Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo, the imperial crest, the red seal of the Minister of Finance, and a kite in flight. The reverse side features an aerial view of a mountain with a Guilloche pattern on the side. The note does not contain any security threads however a wavy lines watermark and numeric 50 are made visible under UV light. This note is in uncirculated condition and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
