The blue Jersey pound banknote is part of the series of banknotes issued by the States of Jersey from 1976 to 1985. This particular uncirculated note has the TB prefix and the signature of States Treasurer Leslie May. Its obverse side contains a Jersey buttercup flower, three lions passant guardant, and Anthony Buckleys photograph of Queen Elizabeth II wearing Queen Alexandras Kokoshnik tiara, King George VIs festoon necklace, and Queen Marys floret earrings. Its reverse side portrays John Singleton Copleys depiction of The Death of Major Peirson during the Battle of Jersey. The note has a solid security thread, a Jersey cow head watermark, and dimensions of 135 mm by 67 mm.
