This uncirculated 1 Jersey banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the States of Jersey in 1976. It is a blue banknote that bears the signature of John Clennett and measures 135 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features a Jersey buttercup flower, the coat of arms of Jersey, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Anthony Buckley. Its reverse side depicts “The Death of Major Peirson,” a painting by John Singleton Copley. Security features include a solid security thread, a serial number with an HB prefix, and a Jersey cow head watermark.
