This Jersey 10 Pound banknote was issued in 1989 with a dimension of 142 x 75 mm. This specimen version is marked with a diagonal red SPECIMEN print on the front and back. The obverse side of the depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Norman Hepple along with the coat of arms with three lions passant guardant, two oystercatcher birds, and flowers. The reverse side features a depiction of The Death of Major Peirson during the Battle of Jersey, by artist John Singleton Copley, and an outline map of Jersey. The note is equipped with a solid security thread and a Jersey cow head watermark to enhance its security features. This banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
